Dragon Dreaming

Dragon Dreaming is a body of knowledge that offers a method and powerful tools for collaborative creation. It is both a methodological model that supports the organic creation of collaborative projects and a philosophy that anchors the process to act collaboratively in life. This knowledge was developed by John Croft throughout his life and has gained worldwide popularity since 2006. Dragon Dreaming came into my life in 2010 and since then I have worked alongside John Croft improving it, teaching it and applying it in different types of projects, in addition to using it in consultancy and workshops. Even when in some cases the application of the method is not necessary, the use of its philosophical bases supports collaborative processes. As an international trainer I teach Dragon Dreaming and I have developed other courses based on this knowledge.

By the end of the course, participants will have learned the basic tools of the method, being able to apply it in simple projects.

Advanced course

This course is aimed at people who want to deepen their knowledge. It comprises 40 hours of theory and practice. This journey delves deeply into the concepts of Dragon Dreaming in order to make room for strengthening relationships and sharing experiences. The program goes deeper in tools presented in the introductory course, features new tools, in addition to bringing a space for dialogue and exchange of experiences of the participants through active and experiential learning - an approach that encourages an active attitude towards the understanding of knowledge, including contents, questions and reflections associated with theory and practice.

The participant will improve their skills in concepts and practice of this knowledge:

Overcoming Blockages in Projects

This course is anchored in an approach that I have developed together with John Croft. Based on the Dragon Dreaming model, we created a model for overcoming blockages in projects.

We start the work focusing on the individual, using therapeutic and systemic approaches that bring understanding of the individual responsibility of each one in the occurrence of blockages. This method helps each person to broaden the perception of blockages in themselves, the group and the project itself.

Every project has obstacles to be overcome and the attitude towards such obstacles is what leads us to overcoming them. Since projects are carried out by people, the beginning of any unlocking needs to happen at the personal level. Through the steps of the Dragon Dreaming model, we can identify limitations and blockages in the technical and human aspects in order to create effective strategies for the realization of our dreams and goals.

Awareness and overcoming blockages develop together a new way of leading, raising the level of attention, communication and expanded vision in many dimensions.

Authentic Celebration

Inspired by the Dragon Dreaming model that teaches about the power of celebration, this approach was developed by me in partnership with John Croft with the intention of deepening the concept and practice of this theme, so important for the recognition of oneself, of others and of results, being the main step towards always dreaming.

Authenticity is a source of creativity: the impulse towards action that must come from every person. It's about becoming true to yourself, accepting yourself to be fully in a material world. The lack of authenticity leads to bad faith and self-loss, conditioning the individuals to submit to external pressures, often without realizing that the choices are not theirs, avoiding uncomfortable truths.

This approach connects the environment and the person through looking at oneself, recognizing the processes experienced and the impact of actions on the environment, on oneself and on others.

We will collectively experience the discovery that the path to collective wisdom leads through the heart of true celebration. We will learn to celebrate and recognize ourselves through the body and through reflections, understanding and practicing the authenticity of feedback processes.

Dragon Dreaming Training of Trainers

Collaborative processes are intense, demand patience and resilience, as well as discernment for the correct choice of tools and the right time to use them. In order to teach complex knowledge like Dragon Dreaming, it is necessary, in addition to enthusiasm, to know the bases and principles that support it. In this training, we will use the participants' practice as part of the deepening process in addition to theoretical classes that underlie the practice.

Requirement:

  • Introductory and advanced courses in Dragon Dreaming conducted by selected facilitators.

  • Dedicate at least 10 hours a month to the studies.
