Essence of Me
I am what life has been offering me as experience since October 1979. I grew up in a normal Brazilian family, with the issues of any family—losses, welcome, abandonment, encounters, and separations. My personal search for self-knowledge and spirituality is the main support for my work with people. From Sufism, which I learned about in 1994, I received much knowledge that I apply in my personal and professional life, such as the Enneagram.
I love to study different and broad topics. I am an occupational therapist and have specialized in human development; neuroscience and behavior; integral sustainability; integrative therapy and Gestalt therapy; Enneagram; Sufi Enneagram and Sufism, family constellation, and Somatic Experiencing. I also work as an international Dragon Dreaming trainer and a facilitator of collaborative processes.
The beginning of my career as a therapist was marked by the encounter with and care of people confronting death. I worked in neurological rehabilitation and thanatology processes. Through this experience, I learned how to deal with people, getting to know their fragilities, fears, doubts, as well as the marvel of the human ability to overcome difficulties. Currently, I work as a psychotherapist in individual, group, and couples processes, and as an international facilitator and consultant in the field of creativity and the development of human potential.
This integration of therapy and projects is due to the incredible potential of collaborative processes for personal development. In this context, I can contribute to the improvement of relationships, the individual development of participants, and the achievement of project objectives.
For me, the body is the master key for connection at all levels. I use my skills and learning to be of service. Conscious body, meditation, and spontaneous movement are practices that support the search for identity and consciousness through attention to mental and emotional presence.
I believe the world will be better when people are healthy, enjoy their talents, and are recognized for the contribution they make to a healthier world. Life is a gift, and it is possible to take care of life by becoming conscious of oneself and one's place in the world.
